DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Following a win against Texas in Charlotte to start the season, Duke men's basketball is back in Durham to play their first true home game of the young season.
The No. 6 Blue Devils (1-0) host the Western Carolina Catamounts (0-1) Saturday afternoon. Tip off at Cameron Indoor Stadium is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Duke overcame a slow start Tuesday night to top Texas 75-60 in the Dick Vitale Invitational. Isaiah Evans led the Blue Devils with 23 points, while star recruit Cam Boozer had 15 points and 13 rebounds.
The Catamounts lost their season opener to Cincinnati 94-63. Junior guard Cord Stansberry led Western Carolina with 23 points in his team's loss to the Bearcats.
Up next for Duke is a game at Army on Tuesday, which is Veterans Day.
