CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department says officers have found and recovered the body of a College of Charleston student who went missing last weekend.
Sgt. Christopher Stinson says at about 8:45 a.m. On Saturday, officers with the Charleston Police Harbor units were called to a report of a body in the water near Patriots Point. Several other agencies also responded to help.
The Charleston County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of the body to be Owen Tillman Kenney, who was reported missing on November 1.
Officers say 19-year-old Kenney was last seen by friends near King Street and Burns Lanes at about 2 a.m. Friday.
