CHAPEL HILL — The North Carolina Tar Heels football team plays the Stanford Cardinal in Week 11 of the 2025 college football season on Saturday, Nov. 8, (4:30 p.m., CW Network ) at Kenan Stadium.

Bill Belichick's Tar Heels (3-5, 1-3 ACC) and the Cardinal (3-6, 2-4) haven't played since 2016 and this is their first meeting as ACC programs. UNC has lost two of its three games against Stanford, but Belichick was 2-1 as a head coach against Frank Reich in the NFL.

The Tar Heels ' defense has been its strength in the last three games, including a dominant win at Syracuse to snap a four-game losing streak. UNC's offense was powered by quarterback Gio Lopez and running back Demon June in the victory against the Orange. Watch UNC-Stanford on Fubo (free trial)
