A man is in life-threatening condition after a single-vehicle collision in Smiths Falls, Ont., early Saturday morning, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
Around 2 a.m., police posted online that Highway 43 between Glenview Road and Station Road had been closed due to the crash.
Police told CBC that a westbound pickup truck left the road and had been "heavily damaged."
A 33-year-old man from nearby Perth, Ont., was transported to a regional trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the highway reopened around 1:45 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
