A house in Nelson that sold for $450,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Madison County between Oct. 25 and Nov. 7.

The county saw a total of six residential real estate sales during the past two weeks, averaging $302,167, or $184 per square foot.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded from the week of October 25 to the week of Nov. 7 even if the property may have been sold earlier.
