PALAKKAD: Three youths were killed when a car crashed into a tree and overturned into a field in Palakkad. Two others suffered serious injuries. The accident occurred at Kallinkal Junction in Kodumbu.

The deceased have been identified as Rohan Ranjith (24), Rohan Santhosh (22), and Sanooj. Preliminary reports suggest that the crash may have happened after a wild boar suddenly jumped in front of the car.
