Video above: Chicagoland immigration raids lead to over 3,000 arrests in two months

CHICAGO (WGN) - Shots were reportedly fired at U.S. Border Patrol agents during immigration enforcement operations in Little Village Saturday afternoon.

The Department of Homeland Security said agents were conducting immigration enforcement operations near 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue when an unknown man driving a black Jeep fired shots at agents and drove off.

DHS further alleges a group of people also threw a paint can and bricks at Border Patrol's vehicle.

The Chicago Police Department was called in for help and cleared the scene.

The suspect who reportedly fired shots at the agents and the Jeep he was driving have not been found.
