Maine is back in the tourism spotlight once again.

As 2025 is close to wrapping up, tourism in Maine won't reach the levels that the state saw in 2023 and 2024 .

Some believed that the "shine" was off of Maine . From overcrowded Acadia National Park to expensive hotspots like Bar Harbor, Camden and Portland, perhaps Maine's moment in the tourism sun had faded.
