One person was killed and two others were injured in a five-vehicle crash in Chicago's West Lawn neighborhood, police said.

The crash was reported at approximately 7:25 a.m. Saturday along West Marquette Road near South Hamlin Avenue. Police said three people were in a dark-colored Infinity traveling westbound when it struck a dark-colored Kia sedan driven by a 32-year-old man.

The Kia was going in the same direction as the Infinity, police said. Following the initial crash, the Infinity struck three additional vehicles, which were parked.

An unidentified male was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead, authorities said. A 26-year-old was hospitalized with unknown injuries and listed in good condition, police stated. A third individual, also a 26-year-old man, was taken to the ho
