Another step has been made towards the completion of the new Hamblen County Justice Center.

Effective immediately, the physical and mailing address for the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office has changed from 510 Allison Street to 460 North Jackson Street.

According to Sheriff Chad Mullins, the HCSO’s administrative and operations offices, as well as the detectives’ division, will stay at their current location, but with a new address.

Mullins added that in addition to the address change for the HCSO, the jail will also be renamed The Hamblen County Detention Center after their move into the new Justice Center.
