It you saw the lights on and popped in to the lobby of the McCarthy Auditorium at Holy Redeemer High School in Wilkes-Barre on a recent Thursday evening, you might well have thought you were visiting a reunion.

Among an estimated 300 visitors who stopped by were alumni from the 1970s — who had graduated in the early years of the school, when it was known as Bishop Hoban High School — as well as alumni from the early years of this millennium, when it was still known as Bishop Hoban.
