MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill. (WMBD) -- A man has been arrested after allegedly making threats to a McLean County superintendent.
Jackwin Alverzios, 56, was arrested on charges of threatening a school official, according to court documents.
At 10:41 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, Eric Young, the superintendent of Ridgeview District #19 School, told officers with the Colfax Police Department that a threat was made against him.
Police spoke to a Ridgeview school custodian, who said that Alverzios had said that he was going to get an unregistered gun and start shooting people.
Court documents say that Alverzios said that he was "just gonna go find [his] gun and have people go to [Young's] house and take care of him."
The custodian said that Alverzios "seemed crazy enough to do it."
