BOSTON —

Runners and viewers are gearing up for Sunday's 2026 B.A.A. Boston Half marathon.

Amid the excitement for the event is some road closures and parking restrictions.

Here's what you need to know:

An overnight parking ban will go into effect on 10 p.m. Saturday through noon on Sunday.

The ban will be from Perkins Street at the Arborway between the Arboretum and South Street, as well as the Riverway between Short Street and Park Drive.

Sunday street closures will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. until noon.

The closures include Morton Street at Harvard Steet continuing north on the Arborway to Kelly Circle at Jamaica Pond.

Parkman Drive will be closed.

Perkins Street from Prince Street to the Jamaicaway will be closed to traffic, as will the Jamaicaway to the Riverway.
