A warm front lifts north tonight, pulling in moisture and warmer air. That will bring scattered showers and a few thunderstorms from south to north after sunset. Most of us will just see rain, but a few of the stronger storms could produce gusty winds or small hail.
Sunday starts off mild and breezy, with highs well into the 70s inland and 60s to near 70 along the coast. But a powerful cold front will approach by evening. Another round of rain and storms is likely late Sunday into Sunday night, followed by a quick temperature crash. Behind that front, winds flip northwest and ramp up to 25–35 mph, ushering in the coldest air of the season.
