TAMPA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Multiple people were arrested by the Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Office (HCSO) on Nov. 6, following a month-long investigation into seven Tampa convenience stores.

The HCSO operation was conducted by targeting convenience stores that were allegedly selling synthetic cannabinoids, commonly referred to as " Spice. "

Several pounds of illegal drugs and more than $40,000 were seized according to deputies.

During the operation, HCSO said that detectives uncovered a stockpile of illegal drugs being sold behind the counters of these stores, including:
