TYLER, Texas — Christmas music by a choir of trombones echoed around pine trees as McKinely Terry grabbed an arm full of angel tree cards at The Salvation Army of Tyler’s Red Kettle annual campaign kickoff and ribbon cutting ceremony at the Broadway Square Mall on Friday.
“I love seeing how excited our kids get when it comes to making sure other kids get Christmas,” said Terry, assistant youth minister at Christ Church Episcopal. “The generosity that they have is just always really powerful.”
