CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Tenn. — One woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash on the 1600 block of Forge Ridge Road in Claiborne County at 12:16 a.m. Saturday, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

THP said Kaitlin Shey Burger, 22, was traveling eastbound on Forge Ridge Road in a 2002 Toyota 4Runner when she failed to stay on the right side of the road when approaching a right-hand curve. Burger crossed into the left-hand lane and exited the roadway to the left, according to the THP.

Burger's vehicle overturned and hit a tree before coming to an uncontrolled stop.

Burger was wearing her seatbelt, according to the THP.
