It’s official — Canyon County Clerk Rick Hogaboam will be Nampa’s mayor beginning in 2026.
Hogaboam achieved a concise victory Tuesday, receiving 63% of the 10,000-plus votes in the mayoral race.
“That’s encouraging, to know that the citizens of Nampa are trusting me,” Hogaboam said. “I hope to come through with transparent, humble leadership, and work on advancing the goals of our city and what the citizens prioritize.”
He will be coming into the position after Mayor Debbie Kling’s decision to not run for a third term. Hogaboam threw his hat into the ring shortly after this announcement and was endorsed by Kling.
