Ryan Ertel’s goal off a corner kick in the first half was all that Radnor needed Saturday to advance in the PIAA Class 3A girls soccer tournament with a 1-0 win over District 2 champion Abington Heights.
Ertel scored off an Arabella Steel corner kick. The center back duo of Anna Reger and Fran Lucchesi teamed with freshman goalie Charlotte Whitcomb to keep the clean sheet against the Comets (19-3-1).
Radnor (19-4) advances to Tuesday’s semifinals against Lower Dauphin, which ousted St. Hubert’s, 2-1.
