LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- An emergency plane landing south of the Las Vegas valley closed a portion of northbound I-15 Saturday afternoon, according to Nevada State Police.

The plane landed on the northbound lanes of the I-15 after mile marker 13, just two miles south of Jean.

All northbound lanes of the I-15 were closed at mile marker 12/ Jean exit, according to RTC Southern Nevada.

It is unclear at this time whether there were any injuries or how many people were on the aircraft.
