The Delaware County Senior All-Star Field Hockey Game is set for Sunday, and it comes with a great cause.

Springfield High School will host the event at 2 p.m., with all proceeds benefiting the TGJ Shine On Fund. The foundation supports programs that help young female athletes become leaders in their communities, strengthen under-resourced sports and education programs, create volunteer opportunities and provide scholarships to student-athletes.

The foundation was established in 2021 in honor of Tiffany Grossi Johnson, a multi-sport standout at Ridley who went on to play lacrosse at La Salle.

The game will feature a Blue Squad against a Red Squad.

The Blue team consists of Academy Park’s Mantenah Sesay; Bonner & Prendergast’s Tana George and Ava Rainey; Cardinal O’Hara’s Juliana DiPiet
