SOUTH HUNTINGTON, L.I. -- Running back Luca Bruno ran for 227 yards on 19 carries, including touchdown runs of 30, 29 and 12 yards, to lead Monsignor Farrell’s JV to a 35-16 CHSFL AAA semifinal victory over host St. Anthony’s Saturday.

The win vaults the third-seeded Lions (8-2) into next Saturday’s title game vs. top-seeded and unbeaten Iona Prep, which beat Farrell, 48-18, last month.
