Pedestrian Struck While Leaf-Blowing In Chambersburg: Police

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while leaf-blowing along East King Street, Chambersburg police announced on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Officers responded to the 500 block of East King Street around 5:37 p.m., according to the department’s release.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the pedestrian was working when they were struck by a passing vehicle.

The driver stayed at the scene, and the injured pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Chambersburg Police Department.
