(Monticello, MN) -- Spring Lake Park stayed undefeated after a 13-12 overtime victory over Alexandria Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the Minnesota State High School League's 2025 State Football Tournament.

Both teams had limited possessions during the game, with regulation ending in a 6-6 tie. Alexandria won the coin toss to start overtime and elected to play defense from its own 10-yard line. Spring Lake Park scored on its third play of overtime when quarterback Nolan Roach threw across his body and completed an 8-yard touchdown pass to senior receiver Calen Truckenbrod . An extra point kick off the foot of Sam Wolde gave the Panthers a 13-6 lead.
