If you’ve been too stubborn to turn your heat on, you’re in for quite a challenge over the next couple of days. A cold front has swept through the region, and brutal cold is set to impact the Ozarks.

Winds have picked up drastically this evening, kickstarting our transition to much cooler weather. Overnight lows will once again flirt with the freezing mark.

While thermometers will read in the 30s to start the day, wind chills will easily dip into the 20s — making for the coldest weather we’ve experienced so far this season.

Along with the cold, gusty winds, and overcast skies will linger. Given how chilly the air will be, a few stray snowflakes may fall during the morning hours. However, no accumulation or travel impacts are expected.
