After spending ten seasons with the Indiana Pacers, Myles Turner willingly joined the Milwaukee Bucks this offseason. The move came after the veteran center felt that his former team had given up on him.
On Monday of last week, Turner faced the Pacers for the first time in his career as an opponent. However, the reunion was far from warm. Fans greeted him with loud boos during the team’s tribute video honoring his decade-long stint in Indiana.
After the Bucks’ 126-110 win over the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Cup on Friday, Turner was asked by a reporter about Milwaukee’s green court design. His response appeared to carry a subtle jab toward his former team’s traditional yellow-colored court.
“Umm, I’m not mad at it. It looks a lot better than yellow,” Turner said.
