EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Thousands of people gathered in East Lansing for Michigan State University’s (MSU) annual Global Culture Celebration.
The free event featured more than 40 displays showcasing cultures from around the world. MSU students created interactive exhibits inside the International Center for the community to learn and immerse themselves in different cultures.
Activities and crafts were available for kids during the celebration.
“It’s a way for students and really all members of the MSU community to connect to cross cultures,” said Krista McCallum Beatty, director of the Office for International Students and Scholars. “A lot of our student organizations have students from all sorts of different colleges here on campus.”
