LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have not lost two straight regular-season games in three years, going into Sunday’s game on the road against the Jayden Daniels-less Washington Commanders. Detroit was sloppy coming off its bye in last week’s 27-24 setback at home to the Minnesota Vikings. The Commanders lost a game and their starting quarterback in a lopsided setback to the Seattle Seahawks. Daniels dislocated his elbow in the fourth quarter and coach Dan Quinn took the blame for playing him late in a game that was out of reach.
