ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — An Elizabeth City man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after a shooting on Saturday afternoon.
The shooting happened just before 4 p.m. in the area of Pritchard and Main streets in Elizabeth City, according to Chief of Police Eddie Graham.
Officers found the victim, 35, of Elizabeth City, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk for treatment.
