MORGANTOWN -- West Virginia football coach Rich Rodriguez has been testing the Mountaineers for the last several weeks, particularly during WVU's five-game losing streak.
The Mountaineers won their first Big 12 game in Houston last week and stacked another one on Friday, moving to 4-6 with a 29-22 victory over Colorado at Milan Puskar Stadium.
West Virginia showed glimpses of progress in all three phases, as the Mountaineers forced a safety on a Colorado punt, scored on offense and swarmed like a bunch of bees on defense.
The win on Saturday in Morgantown marks the first time this season that West Virginia has won back-to-back games.
WVU totaled 369 yards of offense on Saturday, compared to Colorado's 350.
