Uttarakhand has completed 25 years of its formation. To mark the occasion, the entire state is celebrating its silver jubilee, with the main event being held today in Dehradun, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Jolly Grant Airport at 11 AM.

At the event organised at the Forest Research Institute (FRI), the PM will address a large public gathering and inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects worth ₹8,140 crore. It is estimated that around 1 lakh people will attend the programme. Saints from 13 akharas of Haridwar and major temples and monasteries will also participate.
