The election campaigning for the second phase of the Bihar assembly elections, covering 122 seats, will end today. Voting for these seats will take place on 11 November, and the counting of votes will be held on 14 November.
Prime Minister Modi held his final election rally in Bettiah. Over the past month, Modi has conducted 14 rallies and one roadshow across different districts of Bihar.
During the Bettiah rally, PM Modi took a dig at the opposition, saying that the 65% voter turnout in the first phase of elections became a “65-volt shock” for them.
Meanwhile, the central government has granted Y+ category security to Janata Shakti Party founder Tej Pratap Yadav. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued orders regarding this.
Tej Pratap will now be under the security cover of the CRPF,
