Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh is being celebrated across the country from November 1 to 15 to honour the rich tribal heritage, culture, and invaluable contributions of tribal communities to nation-building.

In line with the nationwide celebration, the Odisha State Tribal Museum, under the aegis of the department of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes Development, Minorities and Backwards Classes Welfare and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Research and Training Institute (SCSTRTI), is observing the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda with a series of special programmes and exhibitions.

On this occasion, a dedicated Birsa Munda Pavilion has been set up at the museum.
