The body of a 20-year-old girl was recovered by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team after she, along with two other students of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, went missing on Saturday following a fall into a waterfall in Harangajao village in Assam’s Dima Hasao district.
The three students were reportedly swept away by a strong current.
The deceased has been identified as Sarvakritika Singh (20) from Uttar Pradesh. Her body was recovered during the rescue operation. The two missing students have been identified as Radhika (19) from Bihar and Sauhard Rai (20) from Uttar Pradesh.
