Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday sharpened his attack on the Centre and the Election Commission, saying the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral list is an attempt to cover up the alleged "vote theft".
The Raebareli MP, who had recently held a press conference alleging widespread malpractice in the 2024 Haryana elections, said he believes that similar “vote theft” has taken place in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, too.
“After seeing the data that I also presented in a press conference about how vote theft took place in Haryana, I think the BJP has done the same thing in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. We have all the evidence and will release it one by one - what we have shown so far is only a little,” he said.
