The Sunshine Coast and Australia’s favourite getaway island have been linked by a direct flight for the first time, and there is big news too for travellers wanting to stop in another tourism powerhouse of South East Asia .
From late March, Jetstar will offer tourists the chance to soak in Bali ’s culture and tropical charm following a six-hour flight from Sunshine Coast Airport.
After landing in Denpasar, a connecting service will continue onto Singapore , a major global tourism destination.
Jetstar’s 10th direct service from Australia to Bali, which cuts out the need to fly to Brisbane first, will depart three times a week, with 70,000 seats available every year on its Airbus A321LR long-range aircraft.
