Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have appointed former England fast-bowler Anya Shrubsole as their new bowling coach ahead of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 season. Known for her lethal swing, Shrubsole played eight Tests, 86 ODIs, and 79 T20Is for England, picking 227 wickets.
Six of them came in the 2017 Women’s World Cup final at Lord’s, where England beat India by nine runs. She retired in 2023 as a legend, and this would be her biggest coaching assignment, having previously served as player and assistant coach under Charlotte Edwards at Southern Vipers.
