ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The 2025 high school soccer season in New Mexico has come to a close. State championships for all three boys classifications were held on Saturday at UNM.

The lone goal of the match came from Bears freshman Brice Clark. With the win, La Cueva now has the most state championship victories for any school in the state's highest classification.

The Sartans and goalkeeper David Bunnell were stout against the Chargers attack and played to a clean sheet. Two goals scored in the first half propelled Pius to its 19th state title in program history.
