Rashmika Mandanna’s latest Telugu outing 'The Girlfriend' is off to a promising start at the box office, showing impressive growth within just two days of release. After earning Rs 1.3 crore on its opening day, the film nearly doubled its numbers on Day 2, collecting around Rs 2.5 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk .
With a total of over Rs 3.8 crore so far, the film appears to be winning over audiences with strong word-of-mouth and Rashmika’s emotional performance.
The film recorded an overall occupancy rate of 30.79 per cent across theatres on its second day.
