A thief who stole £25,000 from the cash delivery firm where he worked scoured BirminghamLive in a bid to read about his crime.

Sam Job tried to flee the country after he was rumbled - but left his phone at work with incriminating messages on his Snapchat account which were read by his bosses.

One post, sent to a pal Job asked to arrange a fake passport, said: "I still ent seen nothing on Facebook or Birmingham live yanno g."

The 26-year-old was jailed for two years and three months at Birmingham Crown Court after admitting his guilt as he was due to stand trial.
