The Gurgaon city police early on Sunday arrested two minor boys for allegedly shooting at their 17-year-old classmate with a licensed pistol belonging to one of the accused’s father.

The victim, a Class 11 student, is undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital and his condition remains critical.

According to the police, the incident took place late night on November 8.

“The victim’s mother lodged a complaint stating that her son had gone to meet a school friend near Kherki Daula toll plaza after the friend insisted on seeing him. The two had a dispute about two months ago. The friend took the victim to a rented accommodation in Sector 48 where, along with another classmate, he allegedly fired at the victim with intent to kill”, a police spokesperson said.
