At 4:17 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement until 6:30 a.m. for Forest and Jefferson counties.

"Low level moisture and relatively calm winds will likely result in patchy dense fog this morning. Localized areas with visibilities under one quarter of a mile will be possible. Use extra caution if traveling. Slow down and use low beam headlights," says the weather service.
