PALAKKAD: A woman identified as Devi came forward levelling serious allegations after her two children died following the collapse of an under- construction house. She said that if a vehicle was obtained on time, the life of one of her sons, could have been saved. The two dead are Aadhi (7) and Ajnesh (4), children of Ajay and Devi of Karuvara in Attappady, four kilometers away from Mukkali. Their relative Abhinaya aged six sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment.

Devi said one of her sons had life when she kept him on her lap. Despite repeated calls, a vehicle was not obtained. Later had to take him to the hospital on a scooter.
