THRISSUR: Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, offered prayers at the Sree Krishna Temple in Guruvayur. After praying, he offered money at the hundi. Before leaving, he donated a cheque of Rs 15 crore for the construction of devaswom multi-specialty hospital.

Ambani came in a helicopter and landed on Sree Krishna College Grounds at 7.30 am this morning. Devaswom chairman Dr V K Vijayan, administrative committee member C Manoj and administrator O B Arun Kumar jointly received him. Devaswom chairman draped Mukesh Ambani with a ponnada. Since today is a public holiday, there are special darshan restrictions, so he entered the temple after booking a ghee lamp offering for 25 people. The chairman offered him kalabham and prasadam.
