TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — On day three of the Federal Aviation Administration's order to reduce flight traffic, delays and cancellations continued ticking up at Tampa International Airport.

TPA was named one of the 40 busiest airports in the country, meaning it is facing 4% reduction in flights, which will increase to 6% on Tuesday. By next Friday, Nov. 14, a 10% reduction in flight traffic will be in place.

As of 7 a.m. on Sunday: 24 cancelations, 24 delays; roughly 8% of total flights

On Saturday, delays and cancellations slowly increased throughout the day and by 9 p.m., 36 flights had been cancelled and 175 had been delayed, making up nearly half of all flights.
