RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Police are investigating what led to a three-car collision early Sunday morning in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the crash occurred around 3 a.m. on the highway portion of Wade Avenue near the Blue Ridge Road on-ramp.
Officers said they found the 3 cars entangled on the highway. An alert from the North Carolina Department of Transportation notified drivers that only one lane was open while officers investigated the crash between 3:20 a.m. until the crash cleared around 6:20 a.m. Sunday.
