A pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries late Saturday when they were hit by a car while crossing the street in an area that has no crosswalks, police said.
The Stamford Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad is
investigating the serious injury motor vehicle collision, that occurred in the area of
996 High Ridge Road at 10:30 p.m., police said.
The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision, and was listed in critical condition at Stamford Hospital, police said.
Police said a 2016 Nissan Altima, operated by a 30 year-old Stamford resident was southbound on High Ridge Road in the area of the 900 block and the Nissan struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road westbound.
