A cold front moved through Maryland early Sunday evening, producing showers and even a few thunderstorms with small hail. Behind the front, much colder weather is blowing into Maryland.
Monday and Tuesday are First Alert Weather Days due to the sudden change in temperatures, along with gusty winds.
Temperatures are dropping across Maryland
Rain gradually moves eastward and out of Maryland late Sunday night and early Monday morning. As rain departs, temperatures will continue to tumble. Temperatures will average in the 30s and lower 40s in many neighborhoods across the Baltimore metro. A gusty breeze will make it feel like it's in the 20s and 30s through the morning commute.
Cold weather continues to pour in Monday.
