Teen Shoots Classmate With Father’s Pistol At Posh Gurugram Society; Victim Critical A 17-year-old allegedly shot his Class 11 schoolmate with his father’s licensed pistol in Gurugram’s Sector 48 late Friday night, leaving the victim critically injured. Police said the accused and his friend, both minors, were arrested within hours. The victim was taken to Medanta Hospital, while a pistol, magazines, and live cartridges were seized from the scene and the accused’s rented flat. SHO Balraj Singh said preliminary findings suggest the boys may have been playing with the weapon when it fired. He added that the school should not be blamed, as the incident occurred outside school hours.
