‘What I get out of it, and what I try to do, is support other people interested in clay,” Mary Bunch said about her membership in the Fairbanks Potters Guild. She said the organization allows her to share her knowledge about ceramics, and consult with others when she’s having difficulties on a project.
“Interaction with other potters is what I get out of it.”
The Fairbanks Potters Guild is composed of some 40 members who work with clay. They range from professional potters to hobbyists, all sharing a passion for creating everything from household items like plates and bowls to fine sculptures.
